Sketches from shibari open studio drawing at Studio Friction

Unfortunately, I’ve been fighting the blues because it’s been so rainy and I’m working on making positive changes that will be rewarding when achieved but difficult beforehand.

So I’ve found comfort in #creativity lately. My friend let me know about a #shibari #drawing studio and my sub signed me up and bought me my art supplies!

And before I knew it, #BondageAngels took a flying leap forward. The class was awesome. The tops and bottoms did a beautiful job. One pose was almost exactly what I needed to do my first bondage illustration for the rebranding of #WhereThereIsNoNight. There were A LOT of gifted artists there but after years of quietly doing art almost daily, I think my sketches turned out great considering this was the first open studio I’ve been to since college.
