Lucid Dreaming in My Dreamtown

Can you lucid dream?

I can.

I got into astral projection when I was really young and so lucid dreaming is easy for me since it’s the first step in astral projection.

So I dreamed that I went to this town where I go sometimes in my dreams. It’s not a real place, at least not on this timeline, but I’ve been there many times.

I’ve drawn a map of it before so I can remember the lay of the land.

The Lay of the Land

The lyceum is at the center of activity in town. It’s kind of like the Akashic Records. You can go there and read all you want about your past lives and soul history. I always see other people there reading about their past lives and soul histories but I rarely talk to anyone there because they’re studying.

I can never remember what I read at the lyceum though. Once I stole my Book of Life from the lyceum and some people in white robes chased me to the ocean and made me give it back. The best way I can describe them is like ascended masters or angels. They were nice about asking me to give it back though. They warned me if I tried that again I couldn’t come back so I promised to always leave my book at the Lyceum.

There’s an outdoor art center too not far from the Lyceum in a grove pf trees.  There’s  a Shakespearean theater where you can go put on plays.  I’ve been in plays there before. Once I played Juliet for a summer festival. That was fun. I fell in love with the guy who played Romeo and we watched fireworks together and made love under the stars.

You can also do art at the art center. I’ve painted with other artists there before.

There’s also a train that takes you two different ways. One goes up into the forest where there’s café. You can walk on the road but I’ve never seen cars there. Walking on the road takes a lot longer so I usually take the train. The only problem is it doesn’t really have a schedule.

The other way you can go on the train is down by the beach where there’s an amusement park.

If you stay on the train, it crosses the ocean and you can get to Japan. It didn’t take as long as I thought to get there the one or two times I took the train to the end of the line.

My Last Visit to Dreamtown

I visited Dreamtown again the other night. I was sitting in the café and this Mexican family was having a big birthday party for a small child with cake and balloons and music. I wasn’t part of the party, but I was enjoying watching the party because everyone seemed very happy.

I had to go to the bathroom so I left my stuff upstairs. I felt like my stuff was safe. I would never leave my stuff unattended in a cafe like that in real life, but Dreamtown is a safe place.

So I went down a spiral staircase I’d never been down before. The cafe is sort of built into the side of a hill and it has two distinct levels.

When I got to the bottom of the staircase,  there was the bathroom, and across from that there was a storage room.

I went into the storage room and there was an opening to a poolside area where people were getting ready for a big party.

There was a screen, like a big shade, that closed off the storage area from the poolside, but the screen only touched the top of the water.

There were whales swimming in the swimming pool between the storeage area and the poolside. There was a pool deck and then on the other side of that there was a big open porch that led into this mansion with a huge, crystal chandelier.

It was all very beautiful and everyone was dressed in these wonderful 1920s outfits. I saw that DJ I had the love at first sight experience with in the poolside area and I was like, “I’ve gotta get over there!”

I also saw some performers in costume. I became more and more determined to get into this party because it looked fun and exciting.

I started scheming about how I could get into the party. I thought that maybe if I dove under the screen, then no one would notice me, and I could somehow convince everybody I was a performer. I thought about pretending to be a mermaid performer but wasn’t sure what that would entail. In the middle of plotting I realized that I left my backpack, my wallet, my phone and all of my important things in the café.

This was a problem. If I went all the way back upstairs to get my stuff, I’d lose my chance to sneak into the party when no one was watching.

Plus, I didn’t know what to do with my things because I had to dive deep to get into the party and some things like my phone shouldn’t go in the water.

Then I turned around and there was this confused Mexican man. He asked me directions on how to get to the lyceum. The lyceum was far away from the café and I knew the way, but I felt bad that he was going to have to walk so far and the directions were complicated. I told him it was a journey to get to the lyceum, but I gave him directions. Then he went away and I went back to trying to figure out how to get my stuff. Unfortunately I went the wrong way and got lost then I woke up.

I thought about that dream all day and decided that I wanted to try to get back in to it.

Tips for Lucid Dreaming

Before I talk about my return to Dreamtown, I’ll give you some dreaming tips

  1. Relax
  2. Relax even more.
  3. Pay attention to your breathing. When it starts changing, let your body keep relaxing but keep your mind awake
  4. Empty your mind and stay present. Acknowledge your mind and body cam exist separately and let you body go.
  5. As you feel your body fade, conjure up the image of where you want to be.
  6. Set the parameters. What can you do and what can’t you do? What is your goal? How will you overcome fixed obstacles of there are any?
  7. Happy dreaming!

Returning to Dreamtown in a Lucid Dream

Sometimes I can get back into dreams via lucid dreaming and sometimes I can’t so I gave it a shot.

Once I got to the place where I was able to separate my body from my mind, I conjured up the dream again.

The first thing I did was set the parameters. First of all, my wallet, backpack, phone, keys, etc were not going to hold me back. They weren’t important because I recognized I didn’t need them in this dream.

Next: I didn’t have to dive under the screen. I could just walk through the screen and be on the other side, which I did successfully. When I went through the screen, I imagined the outfit I would be wearing because I was going to convince everyone that I was meant to be there by doing a hot, burlesque fan dance.

An Erte Picture I colored

I envisioned a 1920s burlesque outfit similar to something to what Erte would have deigned for Moulin Rouge dancers with a bra made out of pink, angel aura crystals and crystal panties with a skirt made from crystal chains. I had an antler headdress made from angel aura quartz with little crystals dangling off of it and a big pair of ostrich feather fans. I was barefoot of course.

My costume for the dance performance looked something like this

I ran into the middle of the crowed and did a sweeping motion with my fans to get everyone’s attention, especially the DJ, who I had a BIG crush on. He wasn’t performing that night. The music was more like the 1920s. He was just there hanging out looking dashing in a tailcoat since everyone was dressed like the Great Gatsby. So since I was the one working the party and not him, my goal was to make him my fan (with my fans).

My fans looked something like this only with crystals

Everyone cleared a space for me and I did my act. I can’t remember the music because I was slipping into sleep.

But after the act, the DJ came up to me and we shared a bowl on the balcony.

And my plan worked. In this world, he was my fan.

The sky was that perpetual sunset I always see in dreams. We sat on a chase lounge and admired the fiery sky. He put his arm around me and kissed me.

We had a nice time at the party.

And I slipped deep into sleep.

See you in Dreamtown Next Time!

So anyway, if you want to visit Dreamtown, at least you know a little about how to get around!

Maybe I’ll see you there!
