I dedicated myself to making each day magical for the astrological new year so I’ve been taking a lot of free and affordable #witchcraft classes.
I just finished a five week #BookOfShadows class.
I liked the class for a lot of reasons. I loved the #crafting and learning something new and my classmates were just wonderful. We bonded as a class and that added to the experience for me. I will miss Friday afternoons with everyone.
We did some beginner #leatherworking in the class and I really enjoyed it. My buffalo hide I used even has the animal’s brand on it. I constructed what I like to call a “magickal trapper keeper”. I included a clip board, envelopes and a ring binder to hold pages. Then I bound my witch’s planner, astrology planner and my dream journal into the book. It closes with a clasp and I need to do a tiny bit more leather working to hold the moon charm on the cover down. I also created a sigil from my sun, moon and rising signs and drew it on the back but the paint pen drawing still needs to be sealed. The paint pens I bought seemed to leak EVERYWHERE so I had to color over spots with black and those need to be sealed too.
We also consecrated our books together too. I love having everything I use daily bound together in one place. It was definitely worth the $155 I spent for the class and materials I bought from D.
