Recently I’ve been working with the goddess Frejya. My friend Shea comes over every Friday night and we do offerings to her. She flashed in my mind the other day when I was on my way to get a hair cut so I decided to draw what I saw. Before I drew this picture, I went into my closet and put on an outfit to make me “feel” like Frejya and get in the mood to draw the goddess. I took a little artisitc liberty because I don’t have exactly what I saw her wearing but it was close enough. I’m happy with the way it turned out, especially because I need a favor from her. As I was coloring the picture, I realized that I’d actually drawn the Strength card, interesting because it’s one of the cards that comes up in readings about what I need a favor for. I guess my prayer has been heard and I trust it will be answered.
