It’s the 14th week of the year and the card of the week is the 9 of Cups. Venus is still in Retrograde but she cooled her fire when she entered the water sign of Pisces on Sunday. So hot passions may have cooled and you may even be overcome with a feeling of peace surrounding any complications that may have arose with relationships. However, with Saturn and Mercury stationing retrograde this week, enjoy that breath of fresh air because you may feel like you’re being held under water by the end of the week. Although we have one of the most favorable cards in the deck as the card for the week, this seems to have a “be careful what you wish for” feel to it. Saturn retrograde is a retrograde that repays karma and this Mercury Retrograde, which starts in Taurus on 4/9/17 and ends in Aries on 5/3/17 is all about confusion in love and money. The cards this week all point to challenging situations. The test has begun. How hard are you willing to work for what you want? You are offered everything you want starting now but at what price? What will sacrifice in order to shake off the old ways and embrace the future? It’s useless to preserve your memories because all great things are built on the back of sacrifice. The message here is to stick with it and work through it if you’re really dedicated to achieving what you want.

With Venus still in retrograde as well as Mercury and Saturn getting ready to station retrograde this week, the people who enter your life during this time are connections that have the potential to set spirit right. Moon square Uranus at 4:31 AM PST is a rebellious transit meant to shake things up. But with Moon trine Venus at 1:45 PM PST, these shake ups will turn pleasant with this favorable social transit. Saturn stations Retrograde today in Sagittarius at 10:06 PM PST and will be in retrograde until 8/25/16. Mercury enters His shadow period and will station retrograde in Aries on Sunday. The themes of both of these retrogrades is matters of the heart revolving around karma. The 5 of Cups is here to serve as a remind that although there is so much karma being kicked up and people coming back into your life from the past, don’t take up residence on memory lane. This is a time to move on from the past, not to preserve it. Moon trine Sun at 8:46 PM PST will bring happiness, harmony and flow to your evening. Mars trine Pluto at 8:57 PM PST is a high energy transit that is a lot like an uphill battle. On one hand, you’ll have a lot of energy to get things done but on the other hand, you’ll be up against a lot of opposition. The trick is to make the opposition work in your favor by becoming a leader instead of an opponent. Saturn stations retrograde as mentioned earlier in this post. Not only that but Venus Retorgrade and Saturn Retrograde don’t play nice together so you may be experiencing trouble in your relationships as well that could be quite overwhelming. At least Moon trine Mercury at 5:40 AM PST will make communication a little smoother than it would be at this time. Sun opposition Jupiter at 2:39 PM PST will bring things to a head. You may feel on top of the world, but don’t let your confidence go to your head. Arrogance will only bring trouble. Moon opposition Neptune at 9:33 PM PST will skew intuition that could cause low self esteem. Just know it’s all in your head. Instead, use it to see how you can improve your relationships, not destroy them over petty arguments. The 9 of Wands is a card of taking a beating. It’s been a tough week. We’ve had the 2 most intense 10 cards appear (10 of wands and 10 of Swords); card of defeat and exhaustion. Saturn stationed retrograde on Wednesday and with Venus in Retrograde followed by a challenging square on Saturday, you relationships may not be doing well. All of this in the name of karma; to erase the marks on your soul’s history; to free you from deep karmic ties that have come back to haunt you. If you find yourself asking yourself why this is happening over and over again, know that it is for the greater good and the spiritual meaning of how karma plays out is something that sometimes is not meant to be understood. Moon opposition Venus at 1:07 AM PST brings clingy, needy energy to the early morning. Recognize that if you are not receiving the attention you want from the person you want it from, you may need to re-exam the relationship. Moon square Saturn at 1:21 AM is a challenging transit that brings depressing, hopeless energy on the back of the Venus transit. Once again, Saturn and Venus are not playing well together and you may feel the conflict between your head and heart. If you are asleep during these transits, these themes may appear in your dreams. To make things even more complicated, Mercury stations retrograde at 4:15 PM PST. Today has the potential to be filled with disruptions connected to the conflict between your head and heart.
