It’s a big week for letting go and new beginnings with the New Moon on the horizon and Mercury back on track. I’ve created some journal pages that will help you work through the week and maximize your potential for growth and change. Download them under this link Journal Pages
All astrological times and dates are in EST.
Notes: Three of the Four Pages showed up in this week’s reading so remember to be a student of life and take everything that comes as a learning lesson.
Sunday 2/15/15: 2 of Wands
Moon in Capricorn Sun in Aquarius
The 2 of Wands pictures a man looking out with the world in his hands. He knows that before he sets out on the journey to get what he wants, he needs a good plan. The number two on the card represents the balance needed in to set the stage and secure success. With the Moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Aquarius, it’s a good time to make plans and set foundations to follow dreams that may at first seem unconventional. In numerology, sevens are all about re-assessing and re-evaluating. Since we’re coming up on a dark moon and Mercury has just gone direct, if you haven’t cleared out all the emotional gunk that is holding you back, now is the time to do so. As always, I recommend journaling about what you find.
Mantra: I am planning for success.
Monday 2/16/15 Page of Wands
Moon Void of Course at 3:17 PM Enters Aquarius at 7:13 PM
The Page of Wands is an energetic, passionate individual who is ready to go on a journey. Always ready for action, the Page is ready to explore the unknown but the Balsamic Moon reminds the page that loose ends need to be tied up before going after what you want. Go deeper with the reflection started on Sunday and be brutally honest with yourself. Reflect on success, the path you want to be on and what’s holding you back from it. In numerology, 8 demarcates a will and drive to succeed. Sometimes it takes a lot of willpower to swallow your pride and let things go. Spend some more time with your journal again to help deal with some of the negative feelings that may present themselves and set your sights on the future.
Mantra: Reflecting on success, I let go of what is holding me back.
Tuesday 2/17/15 Page of Swords
Moon in Aquarius
The trouble with the Pages is that they start off with the bright, cheery enthusiasm of a novice but end up losing steam. They often get themselves in for more than they bargain for, especially the Page of Swords. The Page of Swords can be quite the over thinker so it’s best to put the reflection on pause and detach yourself as the New Moon approaches. Instead, use the practical side of the Page of Swords to give yourself a pat on the back for all you’ve accomplished. This is difficult with the double Aquarian influence but remember to stay grounded and focused. The numerology value of the day is 9: you’re almost finished with your period of reflection and letting go. New beginnings are on the way soon.
Mantra: I’ve come a long way and I’m proud of myself.
Wednesday 2/18/15 Seven of Swords
Moon and Sun enter Pieces a little before 7:00 PM
The Moon and Sun both move into Pisces today, the realm of dreams, intuition and physic power. It can also make things quite emotional because it’s the realm of illusion and disillusion. Heed the warning of the 7 of Swords and don’t get caught in illusions pr deceptions. In numerology, it’s a 1 day. 1s mark new beginnings but I also see this more as a metaphor to beware of people who only look out for number 1. With Saturn in Sagittarius, make sure your big plans for the future and new beginnings don’t squash anyone!
Mantra: I set boundaries with myself and others because I care about myself.
Thursday 2/19/15 Page of Pentacles
Moon Void of Course at 6:02 PM
It’s new moon and also the Chinese New Year! It’s a time for new prospects and new beginnings. We continue to float in the Pisces energy as the Page of Pentacles makes an appearance. This page encourages us to take a good look at our finances and think about what we can do to be where we want to be financially. Remember the trip or career change that you were focused on earlier in the week? According to the Astrologist, Jodie Lewin, “Mercury, now direct, is making a sextile to Saturn, will help us figure out how to manifest our unconventional ideas and communicate them to others in an accessible way.” Maybe you need more education or you need to make a budget to get where you want to be. Follow your intuition and don’t get lost in visions of grandeur. In numerology, the two encourages a balanced approach to your financial planning.
Mantra: My vision is real and attainable.
Friday 2/20/15 Justice
Moon enters Aries at 6:13 PM
The Justice card reminds us that we will be held accountable for our actions. In this card, Justice is not blind, Justice sees everything. You are being called to be honest in all endeavors. If you haven’t been honest, your lies are about to catch up with you. The Moon in Aries can be quite explosive and bring arguments that will pass quickly. It’s also a day for highly charged sexual energy but it’s more of a time for making commitments rather than one night stands. If there are any legal issues looming in a relationship, it’s a good time to weigh in on your options. In numerology, three is two becoming one. If two parties come together for a solution, one will be reached, but only if all parties act honestly and accordingly.
Mantra: I am honest with myself and others because it brings harmony to my life.
Saturday 2/21/15 The Tower
Moon Void of Course at 7:36 PM
The Tower is a dramatic card that features two people falling from a tower being struck by lightning. This card is a game changer. It brings dramatic, unexpected changes that level the playing ground and clear the way for new beginnings. If the disagreements that happened on Friday are not resolved in an honest, fair manner, there will be some major shakeups. However, there is stabilizing abound so the quick moving, explosive nature of Aries, ruled by Mars, won’t be as bad as it seems. If you throw Pisces in the mix, this pugnacious energy can also lead to paranoia so perhaps your own worst enemy is yourself today. In numerology, 4 refers to stability. Although this card does not by any means suggest a stable atmosphere, the lack of stability is what brings the energy of the Tower in the first place. You are being given a chance to build a stable foundation again in the aftermath of the Tower.
Mantra: Things are not as bad as they seem.
