The Lesson to be learned here is that sometimes to move forward, we need to gain more experience and focus working on learning a new skill set to prove our dedication to change. The Sun brings the Winter Solstice as He enters Capricorn at 2:45 AM PST where He will stay until 1/19/17. While the Sun is in Capricorn, people are generally pragmatic, somber, serious and obsessed with time. But because it’s Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn, we may see finances get screwed up so be particularly careful of your money. Also, time may take on some strange attributes and leaving you feeling like you entered a time slip. For the especially sensitive, you may lose hours or gain hours at a time. Moon square Mercury at 11:05 PM PST could subdue communication, which will be useful because we’re in the thick of Mercury Retrograde intensified and anything to help clear up confusions will be much appreciated. The Moon is in the judicial sign of Libra and with the Sun entering Saturn ruled Capricorn ushering in the solstice, things may be flipped on their heads today and nothing is quite what it seems. It is also the shortest day of the year and a time of rebirth. The combination found here is interesting because on one hand, we’re on the verge of a very serious shift but on the other hand, we have the sign of hope with Yule and also Christmas — the birth of a “savior”. Now whether that means we will be saved by someone or we’ll have to save ourselves has yet to be determined, but this is a week of judgment and salvation and you are in control.
