There’s a Method to the Madness

Since any it’s an eclipse, I follow the old-school idea that you shouldn’t do too much heavy duty magical working during this time. According to older philosophies, eclipses block spell work. But I have been working on my alchemist corner and covering my walls with charts like a mad woman. But there’s a method to the madness. Just like William Faulkner who wrote the outline for The Sound and the Fury on his walls or scientists who cover walls of chalkboards with mathematical equations, I built my astrology clock and mapped out the Tree of Life so that I have my charts big and ready to interact with in my tiny study. I also build a simple altar (I did all of this one handed because I broke my arm!). But my only intention is that some flower seeds that I planted around the neighborhood in little patches of overgrown weeds down allies and in the park grow and bloom and make my neighborhood prettier.

What did you do for a full moon?

The next issue of Magdalena Tarot Magazine is almost ready.I broke my arm a week and a half ago and was in and out of the hospital for a bit. My graphic designer got a staph infection so please keep him in your thoughts/prayers/healing meditations! some unforeseen illnesses have pushed back the timeline but we’re almost ready for to release Issue 1: The Magician. Looking forward to sharing it with you! Blessings for your eclipse!
